Namesakes
Hooper: Matt Hooper, an ichthyologist brought in to provide more research about the shark attacks in Jaws.
Quint: Quint is the shark hunter that is hired to kill the monster great white shark that terrorizes the town of Amity Island in Jaws.
History
Quint and Hooper were adopted from a local pet store in October of 2007. They were brought to their new home and spent several days nameless. After much debating and dart throwing, their owners settled on two characters from a favorite movie: Jaws. Thus, Quint and Hooper became part of the family.
